Hi my name is Monica Johnson, and I am looking forward to another successful year at Huntington Middle School as a English Language Arts teacher. I have over 17 years of experience as an educator this includes working with a wide range of exceptionalities across different grade levels. None the least, I firmly believe in the unique potential within each student, while embracing the philosophy that every student can learn, just not on the same day or in the same manner, but they can achieve success. To aide in this belief, I will create a fostering atmosphere that's not only inclusive and nurturing, but will influence an inward desire to want to be better and to do better. I am committed to creating tailored educational experiences with each student. Individually but collectively "We Can" work together, learn together and celebrate together. Here's to new adventures and growing relationships that will transcend into the full potential of each student.
