Bio

I graduated from Treutlen County High School in 1986 where I went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in accounting, at Paine College in Augusta, GA. I received my certification in Education for Middle Grades from Georgia College and State University. After my certification I pursued a Master of Science in Middle Grades Education from Walden University. I have been an Educator for 27 years. I am a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Incorporated, Epsilon Psi Chapter. I am happily married, I have 4 adult children, a granddaughter, a grandson, and a son-in-law.

I started my educational career path as an educator in 1996. I began teacher in Dublin City School System from 1996 until 2019. I began teaching at Houston County Board of Education in July of 2019 where I taught Social Studies 7th grade, and I am presently serving at the Employment Academy Coordinator (ISS) at Huntington Middle School..  I currently hold a Georgia Educational Certificate of Middle Grades in the fields of language arts, math, science, and social science.
