Bio

This is Ms. Haugabrook's 2nd year at Huntington Middle School and her 16th year in the classroom.  She has always had a love for learning and knew since childhood that she wanted to be a teacher.  She graduated in 2003 from Alabama A&M University, with a degree in Secondary Education-English Language Arts and recently completed her Master's degree in Management & Leadership.  Ms. Haugabrook started her teaching career in Houston County in 2005 at Warner Robins Middle School.  After 5 years in the classroom, she decided to spread her wings and pursue her dream of living abroad.  She taught for Department of Defense Dependent Schools for a total of 8 years (2 years at Yokota High School in Japan and 6 years at Humphreys High School in South Korea).  Throughout her teaching career, she has taught 6th, 8th and 9th-12th grades, English Language Arts, Drama, Journalism and Yearbook.  She has also served as an advisor for several extra-curricular clubs and in many school-related leadership positions.

Ms. Haugabrook was born and raised in Warner Robins and is a product of the Houston County School System.  She is a proud mother; her daughter is a Senior at WRHS, and her son is almost 2 years old. She's also "Mom" to two pups, 8 year-old Brisko and 6 year-old Cocoa.  Ms. Haugabrook loves family and values her relationships with her family and friends.  She enjoys spending time with her loved ones, movie nights, planning gatherings and events, writing, and trying new recipes.  Giving back to the community is a priority for her, and she especially does so through ministry work and through her membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Ms. Haugabrook is proud to be back "home" in Houston County and loves being a part of the "Hawk Family."
