I attended the University of Colorado, Pueblo Campus and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Educational Psychology in 1990.
I earned my Masters of Education in Early Childhood Education from University of Phoenix in March 2010.
I received my Georgia Teaching Cerification in Special Education for grades Pre-K -12 through the TAPPS program.
I have lived in Houston County for over 14 years. I landed here by way of military assignment with my family. I have three grown children, two of who are currently serving in the military. I spent 4 years active duty in the Army. After serving, I began my college education and working with children of all ages in various educational settings.
I have lived and traveled in many different places through military and personal travel. Two of my favorite places have been Germany and Hawaii! I have been in 47 of the 50 United States, I have vacationed in Peru, the Canary Islands, and several different countries in Europe.
I love animals! I currently have 4 dogs, 2 cats, and a 50 gallon aquarium. I have owned lizards, frogs, mice, rats, birds, and snakes!
In my off time, I love to read a variety of books, especially historical fiction and fantasy! I enjoy getting together with family and friends, as well as participating in outdoor activities, such as camping, running, walking, swimming, gardening, etc.
I am excited to be here and look forward to working with you!
