Dear Huntington Middle School Families,

We know that your involvement in your child’s education is essential to his/her academic and future success.  In an effort to provide the best possible education for your student(s), we invite you to be a part of the continuous improvement process.  Parent engagement is more than just disseminating information to the masses.  It is about providing stakeholders the opportunity to give feedback, make suggestions, and be a part of the work.

We are inviting all parents to participate in one of our annual review of Title I documents daysThe scheduled dates are:

March 12 – 19, 8:30am – 4:30pm, Front Office Lobby

March 20th – During the 8th Grade A Promise to Graduate

March 21st – 5:30pm, During Family Movie Night

April 5 & 6, 2019, 7:00pm, During the Drama Production

                    

 

The following documents will be discussed:

• School Improvement Plan and Budget
• 1% set-aside for Parent Engagement
• Parent Engagement Plan
• School/Parent Compact
• Parent Satisfaction Survey

 

If you are unable to attend the input sessions, you may request a copy of the documents to review and return the feedback card to Rhondrea Allen,Parent Engagement Coordinator.  You may also review these documents in your Title I Handbook you received at the beginning of the school year.   Please remember to stop by the front office and fill out a Feedback Card or request that one go home with your child.
