The media center at Huntington Middle School has a wide variety of materials that stimulate growth in factual knowledge and literary appreciation and that develop critical reading and thinking skills. Our media programs are specifically designed to assist learners to grow in their ability to find, evaluate, and apply information that helps them function fully in everyday society. The media specialist collaborates with teachers to plan lessons that both support and enrich the curriculum. The media center is open each school day from 7:00 to 3:00.

We have 15 computer stations; a SMART board and several ipads the students can use when they visit with their teachers. We have a large selection of ebooks available online, as well as several digital magazines on our ipads. This year we remodeled to include a larger lounge-type area with maker spaces for STEAM activities.
